STRUCTURE/ABSTRACTION: ALTER EGO

The helmet of  Pulous was excavated in the late 1980s after archaeologists found an ancient battle arena of the coast of Greece. Studies and other findings in the area have led researchers to believe that perhaps this long lost tribe was once a part of a culmination of pre-Olympic type games where numerous tribes and nations gathered together to fight to the death thus crowning the champion of all nations. These games were spectator sports and were enjoyed by many of the wealthier members of the tribes. Despite the gruesome nature of the sport attendance is thought to have been very high to watch these games as a form of brutal entertainment. During these games it was typical for the participants to wear armor that was representational of the tribe there were from.  The Pulous tribe was one that was represented by the birds that inhabited the area hence the feather Mohawk and bird emblem embedded in the helmet. Also the bright blue and red of the helmet are supposed to be representational of the colors of the tribe.
